Insomnia is a sign of a troubled mind

Sleep is a natural state. You are hard-wired by nature to rest and sleep when the sun goes down and your eye receptors register the change of light.

You are wired to fall asleep. Your subconscious mind wants you to sleep. Nature does all its repairing work while you are asleep. In order for your body to repair, it really requires you to be asleep.

If you do not allow sleep to come to you, it is because you are keeping your mind preoccupied with thoughts about the past or future. Your mind has gotten to associate bedtime with reflection time. Your mind believes that it needs to stay active because you have issues that are unresolved yet.

  • As if bedtime and nighttime could resolve them,…
  • or As if they need to be resolved immediately now…
  • As if thinking about them is going to resolve them instantly…

Excessive thinking and a racing mind. No wonder sleep is absent or interrupted.

Your mind gets an idea, “Oh, I know what getting into bed is for. It’s the time when we start to process everything you could have, should have, would have done if you were smarter, brighter, more efficient.”

You have trained your mind now to use the bed as a time to go over everything

That really is torture because if you want to torture someone, literally, you deprive them of sleep. All regimes would interrogate people in the middle of the night because when you’re deprived of sleep, you become slightly psychotic. You’ll give up information without sleep. Without sleep, you can’t function normally.

What keeps your mind active?

The reasons can vary. Some could be recent, like an upcoming exam or work-related expectations some others can have their origin way back in childhood when for example sleep was interrupted by mom and dad fighting. People think, “I need to be in control. I can’t sleep because somehow, somewhere, I’ve told my brain I need the control of staying awake.”

Others put pressure on. The pressure is: “I’ve got to sleep. I must sleep. I’ve got to be up in six hours. I must sleep. I’ve got to sleep.”

They keep looking at the clock. Looking at the clock can be a suggestion that is alarming to the mind. “Look, it is after midnight, I won’t have enough time for a replenishing sleep.”

The reasons for insomnia are always unique and differ from person to person.
Hypnoregression finds them out. And the Hypno-recording conditions you to associate bet time with relaxation time. My wording and my voice take you back to how well you used to sleep, back to how you were meant to sleep.

Once we find and eliminate the troubling reason, sleep comes to you naturally. During the hypnotic session, we eliminate the idea that sleeping is not safe, not desirable. This is one of my wonderful tools to enable your transformation. If you would like to know more, schedule a get-acquainted call with me now.

What works for all people is that you were born able to sleep, and you can regain that ability., because you are now free of the old issue, of the old limitation. Your subconscious mind is very keen to give it back to you because it’s a form of torture to not sleep.

You can train your mind now to use the bed as a time for relaxation and letting go

What else can you consider doing for establishing a good night’s sleep routine?

  • Control your exposure to light
restrict the use of computers, smartphones, and other electronic devices with artificial blue light two hours before bedtime
  • Go to bed and wake up at the same time as far as possible
care to not go engrossed within an activity so much that you overlook your bedtime, try setting an alarm on your watch to remind you
  • Exercising less than 2 hours before bedtime may have the opposite effect of overstimulating the brain. Do your exercises best in the morning or in the late afternoon and never immediately before sleep
  • Eat a light meal for dinner and stay away from spicy food to help prevent indigestion. Look for foods high in tryptophan: turkey, cheese, almonds.
  • Avoid drinking caffeinated beverages after midday
  • Avoid having difficult or touchy conversations in the evening as we are more likely to stay awake replaying the events in your head. The same effect has dramatic movies or books you read before bedtime
  • Avoid daytime naps
  • Sleeping during the day will make it much more difficult to sleep well at night. If a nap is absolutely necessary, for example, because of a late-night, then limit this to about twenty minutes. Make sure that you are awake for at least 4 hours before going back to bed. Don’t allow yourself to fall asleep in front of the TV – not even for a minute.
  • Don’t lie awake watching the clock. Watching the time on a clock just makes you anxious about not being asleep. If possible, take the clock out of your bedroom. If you need the clock for the alarm, turn it around so that you can not see the time. Resist the temptation to look at the time on your various electronic devices. Charge them ideally outside of the bedroom overnight.
  • You may benefit from “wind-down” relaxation routines like an aroma bath, deep breathing next to an open window
  • And of course, your tailor-made hypnotic recording!

The recording is also tailor-made to your particular case and touches all the good reasons why you can now give your nervous system permission to relax and teaches you how to do that.

As the muscles in your body relax, your mind is relaxing, too. You can send signals to your mind to go out of the fight-and-flight mode by simply relaxing the body.

You play this recording at night and you go to such a deep place where you are changing sleep patterns for the better. You’re activating within yourself the most perfect, deep sleep patterns that are a part of you.

Your body is responding as you direct it, command it, instruct it, to give you the perfect sleep habit that you were born with.

When you were little, you slept perfectly. You can activate this memory using the power of hypnosis and my guidance..
