The reason you are not achieving that goal

You have been taking massive action towards the achievement of your heart’s desire? Yet, you are not there yet?

There must be a deeper reason for that. I have been there too. One part of me wants it badly, another part of me fears it like hell.

The mind can not hold conflicting beliefs.

They cancel each other out. You can not be blissfully happy and deeply sad at the same time, correct? In the same way, you can not aim at exploring new markets and at the same time fear expansion…

A part of you wants to make more money, but a bigger part of you says: “Wait, is this safe? Will I still have the same friends, if I get a different lifestyle? What if I alienate them? How will I then know, who is my real friend and who is a friend of my money?!

I do want to have more money and all the benefits that come with it, better food, luxurious holidays, amazing living space, you name it, but deep down I just can’t stop thinking: “What if I fail? Will then people make fun of me? Humiliate me?

Or now that you have all this money, you start thinking: “Well, what will happen to me? Will I change as a person? I know that rich people become ruthless and that the love of money is the root of all evil…How safe am I from becoming greedy?”

Your subconscious limiting beliefs are holding you from achieving that goal.

Deep down unconsciously such beliefs are pulling you back. That is why you may make some progress towards your goal and then it goes right back down, it is like a yo-yo. Seems like unconsciously you have set a stand-point for yourself, and every time you come to exceed it, your mind has to bring you back down, to your self-appointed boundaries. How does your mind do that?

It makes you want to procrastinate or gives you feelings of boredom, lets you make some dumb decisions, or encourages you to spend big, losing your time and focus. And it happens without conscious control or intention.

When you start hitting the lower limit, that breaking point, the subconscious mint kicks into gear again, supporting you, you start to focus, to make good decisions, The yo-yo keeps going up and down and the average is exactly the number that you earn.

Your past has defined your set-point or limits

The limits of what you can or can not accomplish and no amount of willpower and conscious determination is really gonna get you above those results until you look within that proverbial subconscious mind and deal with what you find in there.

Even with the right intentions to get rich to contribute better and to give back to society, even then, if a larger part of you is afraid of that, is against that, is not safe around that, it will sabotage your efforts.

You attract what you are and not the goal you are after.

This is how you keep dancing two steps forward, three steps back. This dance is called resistance. You attract more of who you are and never what you want if what you want is very much unlike you.

Desiring something, wanting something implies that you do not have it yet, correct? If you want to have a happier, healthier, wealthier life experience, you first have to become that version of yourself within, on a feeling level.

There are different approaches to that. The most effective ones are those, that deals with the subconscious mind and help you get rid of negative feeling patterns, rooted in negative past experiences, which resulted in you forming and sustaining negative beliefs.

Negativity is not a bad thing, do not blame yourself.

No baby is born believing it is not enough, not worthy, not lovable. Beliefs like those are learned later on, whatever the case is. You are born perfect, innate, authentic, as you are.

All the negativity that pops up, whether that is a constant worry, or chronic self-doubt, a looking-for -the wrongs-overlooking-the right- attitude, whatever your case may be, it is NOT an accident. And it is not necessarily a bad thing. It is just not serving you well.

We are conditioned to call difficult feelings negative. But it is just stuff your mind comes up with, with the single-minded idea of keeping you safe. If you are thinking negative thoughts, that doesn’t make you a negative person. There is a very good reason behind all of them.

When you are looking over a high balcony, you get a fear of heights, so that you watch your step and do not fall down. That fear is not a mistake, your mind is trying to keep you safe.

Align your past with your desired future goal

You can change how you hold the past in your mind. All the negative thoughts you have about yourself, the world or finance are not an accident. You were not born this way. Just learned them as you went through life. And as you learned them, you can just as well un-learn them.

You have memories, which your subconscious mind is constantly referring to as proof, that you need to be protected from dangers. from making way too much money than your peers and getting alienated from your tribe. That is what you learned and it is familiar. It is what you learned and it makes you who you are today. That is the familiar, safe zone. It is the job of your subconscious mind to keep you there for your survival.

If you want to go beyond that invisible financial barrier, increase your mood permanently, get rid of that anxiety, depression, or else, I invite you to consider: It is not a mistake that these things are there.

All you need to do is just go back to your past, rewrite that memory, rewire your brain, change the interpretation of past events, that are causing the problems.

Events do not affect us, it is the meaning we attach to events that affect us.

It is the beliefs that we form out of these experiences, that continue affecting us for years after.

Like in the famous or not so famous song of Jackson Browne “For A Dancer”:

“Just do the steps that you’ve been shown
By everyone you’ve ever known
Until the dance becomes your very own.
No matter how close to yours other steps have grown
In the end, there is one dance you’ll do alone.

Into a dancer, you have grown
From a seed, somebody else has thrown
Go on ahead and throw some seeds of your own

In the end, there is one dance you will do alone…

You have to see into that: whose steps are you going into even though it is not even serving you well anymore?!

The Psychology behind reaching a goal.

To be able to make more money, you have to subconsciously believe deep down there that you are worth it, you have to feel like you deserve it. It is a belief, that you can create enough value in the marketplace and get rewarded for it.

The number one thing for reaching a goal is your set of beliefs, your identity. Success is 80 % mindset and 20 % strategies, as Tony Robbins puts it. You can have the right marketing plan, the right business tools, and strategy, sufficient funds, all the knowledge, but if your psychology is not set up correctly, you will either never act on them or take wrong action steps and sabotage yourself.

Your identity-how you perceive yourself deep down on a subconscious level- really affects your thoughts, feelings, actions, and results. Human beings have a deeply seated need to act consistently with who they think they are. For example: “I am a Hindu. Hindus do not eat cows. I am a vegan. Vegans do not eat meat at all. I am a smoker. And I need 20 cigarettes a day. I am average. I never make more than 50 000 a year….” It is a frustrating phenomenon.

The most powerful way to reprogram your subconscious mind.

The key is to change who you think you are on a subconscious level. Going back to the source of the problem, the root cause. The experience, that caused an emotional impact, which left an imprint of a belief, that formed an identity that dictates everything about you up to the present day.
